
Tadesse Mosissa Ejeta
Tadesse Mosissa Ejeta is an Assistant Professor of irrigation and ecohydrological modeling. He develops comprehensive teaching materials on ecohydrology, irrigation, and soil-water management. His expertise extends to training and consultancy in solar-powered irrigation systems, climate-smart agriculture, and nature-based water management. Collaborating with organizations like GIZ, CIHEAM, and USAID, he promotes sustainable water solutions globally. His research enhances food and water security by applying nature-based solutions that improve livelihoods and strengthen socio-ecohydrological services in vulnerable communities. Tadesse also investigates reducing environmental pollutants to support agricultural self-purification. He has received multiple awards and funding for projects on SPIS adoption, resilience building, and catchment management. Supported by GIZ, IOM, USAID, and European governments, he leads global training workshops with UNESCO-IHE and FAO, advancing sustainable agricultural water management and community empowerment.
